Two Hands (twohandshospitality.com / @twohandsrestaurant) is seeking experienced line cooks and porters for our new restaurant opening soon on Tennyson Street!
Two Hands Hospitality is a group of community-focused Australian restaurants. Serving breakfast through dinner, we fuel your lifestyle with fresh, delicious food, cocktails, and coffee. We are a fast-growing, innovative hospitality group with three restaurants in NYC, locations in Austin and Nashville, and more on the horizon.

WE OFFER:
Rate starts at $20/hour for line cooks and $17/hour for porters and increases depending on qualifications and with time
Health insurance available for full-time employees after 3 months
One meal provided per shift
A 50% employee discount for you and up to four guests on food and drinks when dining outside of work hours

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1 year restaurant experience in this role
Open availability (including weekends) is preferred
Ability to maintain DOH sanitation standards and uphold the cleanliness of the kitchen
Basic knife skills
Understanding of basic cooking techniques
Ability to work/stand for 8-10 hours a day and occasionally carry up to 20 pounds
Ability to keep your workspace clean and uphold the standards of the restaurant
Must be available weekends
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Willingness and ability to follow instructions
Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
