Castle Pines Golf Club is looking for a Chef to assist in the staff meal operations. Shift is from 7-4 and entails putting together meals for the operations team of the club, approx. 120 ppl during the week and 50 on the weekends & evenings. Part of a team of 3 Chefs that work together to utilize product and be creative in developing menu items. A fun position for someone who loves to cook without the pressures of ala carte service.

Looking to hire immediately, all uniform items provided

We will also be host to the 2024 BMW Championship Golf Tournament marking the first PGA Tour at Castle Pines since the International in 2006

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares a variety of different meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using Castle Pines Golf Club recipes.

Assists in all food prep operations for all food outlets of the Club.

Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.

Completes required tasks within assigned time frames.

Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation.

Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

Knows and complies consistently with Castle Pines Golf Club standards that include portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.

Reports to shift on time and in proper uniform.

Performs related duties such as helping wash dishes, as needed, kitchen cleaning and help with any other projects as assigned by the kitchen manager.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty.

Cook Qualifications/Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard foodservice equipment.

Understanding & Willingness to learn proper sanitation practices.

Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Associate’s degree Culinary or Applied Sciences preferred

High school diploma or GED

Kitchen experience a plus

Compensation:

$18.00- $25.00 Hr/ Dependent on position & proven experience level
