We have the career for you!Reports To: Lombardi Production ManagerHourly/Salary: Hourly Job Type: Full-timePay Rate: $24.40Shift: Sunday - Thursday: 6 AM start time and work until the job is done.Subject to change by management Responsibilities and DutiesPrepare the workstation – ensure that rubber floor mats are in place; maintain a safe and sanitary work areaEnsure that the equipment to be used is in good working order.  Report any maintenance work needed to the supervisor and/or maintenance prior to using the equipment.Operate packaging machines and labeling machinesEnsure that sufficient supplies are on hand and readily available; tape, labels and boxes.Inform manager and/or lead person of any product(s) that has not been cut or trimmed to specificationsPackage customer’s orders in proper container/pouch as per specifications and in order of deliveryCheck cry-o-vac packages for leakage and re-package if necessaryMark all packages correctly utilizing labelsAdhere to all USDA and company regulations regarding sanitation; follow proper food handling procedures, (smocks, hairnets, beard guards, changing aprons, etc.)Maintain quality assurance policies and follow and/or participate with HACCP proceduresAdhere to SQF policies and follow and/or participate with SQF ProgramMaintain a safe and sanitary work area by mopping up spills and pickup meat/fat pieces off the floorAdhere to all company safety policies, report any safety violation or problem.  Report all injuries to your manager/lead person immediately.Perform housekeeping duties as assigned (cleaning offices, bathrooms, etc.).Adhere to all company policies and proceduresMaintain satisfactory attendanceAny other duty assigned by management personnelClean and maintain equipment to company standards
