We are looking for a dedicated Virtual Patient Safety Attendant like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Virtual Patient Safety Attendant (VSA) participates in high-quality, patient-centered care by providing continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients. The VSA functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at HealthONE/HCA Healthcare.

You will always maintain a direct line of sight with patient, including while family and/or visitors are in the room.

You will establish a safe, risk-free patient environment by utilizing knowledge of fall prevention protocols, infection control measures, and self-harm prevention.

You will monitor the patient’s physical and emotional condition.

You will report any changes in status promptly while remaining in direct line of sight with the patient.

You will Intervenes as needed to prevent patient from harming self or others.

You will seek immediate assistance for escalating incidents.

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED required.

Minimum of at least six months of experience in a clinical setting.

Demonstrates good organizational skills.

Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards.

Displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills.

Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
