Lead the client experience by developing and broadening Janus Henderson’s scope of business with assigned Strategic Accounts and forge new relationships with emerging clients (90% of time will be spent on client interaction on assigned accounts)

Partner with senior leaders / centers of influence to further our engagement with our clients’ senior leadership teams

Remain accountable for alignment with National Accounts KPI’s

Sole responsibility on the development of new/emerging clients as assigned by Lead Director and/or Head of National Accounts

Represent all Janus Henderson product offerings and collaborate with key external & internal stakeholders (Sr Leadership, Investments, Field Sales Directors, Account Managers, Analyst Relations, Retirement, Marketing, PCS and Offshore) allowing you to further develop and broaden our scope of business with clients

Accountable for adopting CRM and other company technology for client strategic planning, pipeline, interaction tracking and sharing of data with key stakeholders

Liaise with National Account & Analyst Relations teammates on various client requests that require collaboration with various internal teams. These internal teams may include but are not limited to PCS, Operations, Marketing, Events, Legal, Analyst Relations, Product Development, Offshore, and Retirement

Develop a keen understanding of your clients’ business model allowing you to assess new opportunities for Janus Henderson to partner or build new product offerings that fill a platform gap

Improve the promotion of Janus Henderson thought leadership content/resources

Follow the client meeting process by using the standardized framework which includes prep document, call notes and follow-up for team sharing and collaboration with all stakeholders

Build a solid understanding of our Portfolio Construction Services (PCS) offering and how to leverage with clients

Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

Minimum 5 years account management experience in the mutual fund/financial services industry required

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Series 7, and 63 licenses required

Strong interpersonal skills for developing strategic business relationships and influencing the decisions of others

Strong public speaking and presentation skills

Working knowledge of the company, including history, investment resources/team/style/process, product offerings, and defined contribution

Knowledge of financial services industry and investment products in general, including stocks, bonds, funds, annuities, 401K plans, pension plans

Great organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy

Self-motivated and successful track record contributing in a team environment

Nice to have skills

Working knowledge of SalesForce or other similar CRM

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $150,00 - $165,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through 5/31/2024.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
