Lunar Transportation: This role is part of the Lunar Transportation business

unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product

lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living

and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our

transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

As a Liquid Systems Manager on Lunar Transportation, you will report to the

Fluids and Propulsion Team Manager and directly support program execution. The

products developed provide Lunar Transportation lander vehicles with Fluids

and Propulsion products to enable unprecedented crew and mass to surface

capabilities. This position will support all aspects of product and team

management to include accountability and oversight of schedule, risk

management, and personnel management of a team responsible for hardware

design, development, specification, and vendor technical management.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will

require your dedicated commitment and attention towards safe and reliable

space

You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the

Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.

You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that

will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond

the bounds of Earth.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for leading a technical team to deliver a high-performance liquid

propulsion system by developing liquid propellant management subsystems

(transfer, storage, gauging, conditioning, delivery) along with

integrating engines

Accountable for definition, specification, and development of hardware

(in house make and external buy) to meet mission objectives and satisfy

requirements while balancing cost, schedule, and risk

Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team

Manage your direct reports' professional development (e.g., coaching,

routine one-on-one development conversations, performance reviews, and

promotion management)

Develop robust plans meeting deliverables and manage to the key operating

metrics - including technical, cost, schedule, and risk

Develop product roadmaps, including development and incorporation of

technologies to meet future mission requirements

Work with internal and external customers to understand and shape stakeholder

current and future mission needs

Perform technical work and provide technical leadership of the highest caliber

Monitor technical progress, requirements, budget, schedule,

deliverables and risks as well as review recommendations for change with

program management

Communicate progress to leadership team via; program management reviews

weekly/monthly, finance reviews, long term forecasting business plan,

and project deep dives
