The Senior Lead Operations Analysts will focus on IP-based networks, national transport, and local technologies, supporting the business in identifying issues such as delays, outages, and impacts through data analysis and the tracking of reporting/metrics within these focus areas. Provide business analysis and support for Network Operations teams.
Create ad-hoc reports and high-quality presentations to offer operational visibility to business units.
Define and provide data evidence to support business cases and quantify optimization opportunities.
Identify and analyze patterns in key performance indicators (KPIs) and business challenges.
Support the control and value realization of delivered solutions with data.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets, performing statistical analyses as needed.
Execute data analytics to ensure data completeness, quality, and consistency across systems.
Present findings through graphs, reports, and presentations in an understandable and compelling manner, advising the business with data-driven facts.
Partner with peers, leadership, and other internal stakeholders with a goal of improving existing business processes.
What We Look For in a CandidateRequired
5+ years experience in IT, Business Operations, or Network Operations role focused on data analysis, process optimization, automation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Technical experience and background in telecommunication/technology areas such as IP, Transport, Voice, 911, Ethernet, Data Centers, or similar
Experience using data analysis to identify trends and outliers, and using that data to build high quality visual aids and reports to present findings along with potential solutions or opportunities for improvement
Experience creating, improving, and maintaining process documentation
Effective collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated accountability to create, lead, and manage performance improvement initiatives, projects, and programs to drive Network Operations Center performance
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen experience and certifications
Demonstrated expertise in the development of complex automated Business Intelligence solutions using software such as Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau, or Looker
Database Management Systems experience such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake
Experience with any of the following for data analysis: PL/SQL, Python, VBA/BASH/PHP, Extract, Transfer, Load (ETL)
CompensationThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
