The Sales Development Representative role will support the Device42 sales team, a company recently acquired by Freshworks in June 2024. Device42 offers a powerful, real-time view of an organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all assets. With the integration of Freshservice and Device42, Freshworks now provides a robust IT solution, featuring enhanced IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities. This combined offering allows us to deliver even greater value to our customers, streamlining their IT management and optimizing business performance.As an SDR (Sales Development Representative) at Device42, your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage with potential users and buyers of our software through phone calls and email outreach. You'll be tasked with uncovering sales opportunities and scheduling qualified meetings for the Account Executives across your assigned territories. By leveraging both new and existing lead sources, you'll develop relationships with prospects, understanding their current and future initiatives, and qualifying them to create a strong pipeline of sales opportunities. What you'll do: Upon receipt of inbound leads, perform the necessary qualification to create follow-up meetings for the sales organizationGenerate qualified leads through cold calling and other prospecting techniques, to a targeted database, and effectively transition them into strong sales opportunities for the external sales teamUnderstand and effectively communicate the Device42 value proposition and targeted messageMaintain an awareness of accounts and industries as part of general prospecting practicesProactively and effectively utilize CRM toolMeet or exceed assigned targets, while adhering to all company requirementsPlease note this is an in-person role with onsite expectations of 5 days/ week from our Downtown Denver office (1401 Lawrence Street)
