Description Paralegal – First-Party Insurance LawOur client, a top-tier first-party insurance law firm, is seeking a skilled Paralegal with 5 plus years of experience in personal injury, insurance defense, or first-party property insurance. E-filing experience within the court system is required.Key Responsibilities:
Case Management – Handle cases from start to finish, including auto, premises liability, and third-party workers’ compensation claims.
Litigation Support – Assist with deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, and trial prep, including organizing witness binders and demonstrative evidence.
Scheduling & Coordination – Manage calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and other key meetings.
Legal Drafting – Prepare pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, interrogatories, and legal correspondence.
Client & Partner Communication – Interface with clients, adjusters, and medical providers as needed.
Case Management Software – Maintain case data in Time Matters.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
