Description We are offering an opportunity for a Storage Engineer in the service industry, based in the state of Colorado. The selected candidate will be responsible for post-sales services and support, installing, configuring, and maintaining NetApp storage systems at customer sites. This role demands expertise with various storage protocols and technologies.Responsibilities: Install and configure high-availability storage systems for optimal system performance. Conduct regular onsite checks and system upgrades. Prepare detailed planning, implementation, and closure documentation. Collaborate with engineers and managers, sharing best practices to uphold high-quality standards. Engage effectively with customers to deliver quality results that meet their specific program requirements. Exhibit proficiency with the installation and configuration of various storage platforms. Demonstrate subject matter expertise with storage protocols including NFS, SMB, FC, FCoE, iSCSI. Show experience in working in NAS and SAN environments. Utilize technical skills in NetApp, NetApp Storage, NFS, Storage Protocols, SMB, FCoE, Clustered Data Ontap, iSCSI Protocol, iSCSI, Cisco CCNA, Data Ontap. Willingness to travel extensively to client sites as part of the role.Requirements Minimum of three years of experience as a Storage Engineer or similar role in the Service industry. Proficiency in NetApp and NetApp Storage is crucial. Familiarity with NFS and Storage Protocols is required. Experience with SMB and FCoE is necessary. Knowledge of Clustered Data Ontap and iSCSI Protocol is expected. Proficiency in iSCSI is highly desirable. Cisco CCNA certification is advantageous. Deep understanding of Data Ontap is required. Must be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. Ability to deliver quality results under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
