Description Robert Half is seeking a Medical Malpractice Legal Assistant to join our clients team in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the legal industry, specifically focusing on medical malpractice and personal injury cases. As a Legal Assistant, you will be integral to our litigation team, working on complex cases from start to finish, and contributing to significant safety changes throughout Colorado and nationwide.Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team on daily case management and strategy Prepare and format various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, memos, outlines, and summaries Prioritize tasks and deadlines for multiple cases Transcribe from oral dictation and written drafts Familiarize with and adhere to State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Manage trial preparation including document organization and coordination Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Schedule travel arrangements including air, hotels, and vehicles Ensure accurate and efficient E-Filing requirements for state, federal, and appellate procedures Oversee docket and calendar management using electronic database Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and clients.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant Proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is required Experience with Case Management Software and CompuLaw is necessary Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently Experience in Calendar Management and Claim Administration Exceptional Client Relations and Communication skills are essential Must have knowledge of Medical Malpractice law Personal Injury Law expertise is required Must have experience in Personal Injury Litigation and handling Personal Injury Plaintiffs Trial Experience is highly desirable Must be able to manage confidential information with discretion Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
