Medical Data Entry Clerk

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Medical Data Entry Clerk in DENVER, Colorado. This role is primarily focused on data entry and management in a medical context. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth operations in a healthcare setting, with specific emphasis on billing operations.Responsibilities: Accurately input patient information and medical records into the system. Utilize Microsoft Access for database management and data entry tasks. Assist with billing functions, including updating and maintaining patient billing records. Administer claims, ensuring they are correctly processed and recorded. Maintain and manage a complex management system, ensuring efficient operations. Collaborate with the team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with patient records or billing. Ensure all data entry tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard of accuracy. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all health and safety regulations.Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role. Knowledge of Management System, Billing Functions, and Claim Administration is required. Demonstrated ability in Data Entry with high attention to detail. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently. High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required. Familiarity with medical terminologies and healthcare regulations.
