millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.We are looking for an experienced turbomachinery bearings engineer for our

Lunar Lander for NASA's Artemis mission. Work will include the complete life

cycle of from requirements definition, analysis, design, development,

assembly, verification, and operation on the moon!We will be designing and building clean sheet advanced liquid hydrogen and

liquid oxygen pumps. This position encompasses bearing specification,

design, and procurement for multiple cryogenic pumps. A successful candidate

will have significant professional experience in bearing design across a

variety of turbomachinery applications.Bring your technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to

quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission

and vision is required!You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the

Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.

You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that

will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond

the bounds of Earth.Qualifications:

B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related

technical subject area

5+ years of experience in turbomachinery bearing design engineering

Experience in turbomachinery design, material selection, and tribology

Experience planning, defining instrumentation, and post processing bearing

tests

Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills with ability

to directly collaborate with external parties including government and

commercial entities

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. For full info follow application
