As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, as a Senior Flight

Software Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the

development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems, and play

a key role in enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and

woAs a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and

developing flight software for upcoming Blue Ring uncrewed spacecraft. You

will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers to establish

requirements, direct team tasks, and create and evaluate real-time

software using C/C techniques. Your efforts will directly influence

the effective development and operation of multiple satellites, and you will

have the chance to guide and inspire fellow software team members.To excel in this position, you should have attained a B.S. degree in

computer, aerospace, or electrical engineering or a related field, or

possess equivalent experience. Additionally, a minimum of 6 years of

experience in complex, multi-system, embedded avionics software

development and testing, ideally for aerospace or similar critical

systems, is required. Strong communication skills, a track record of

taking software from concept to delivered product, and familiarity with

B.S. degree or equivalent in computer, aerospace, or electrical

engineering or related field

6+ years of embedded software development and testing experience including

multi-threaded programming and real-time systems, particularly in C/C

Demonstrated effective communication skills with program and executive

leadership.

Proven experience in requirement derivation, implementation, and verification

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps processes and culture

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships,

and strengthen our culture of inclusion

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green

Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted

asylum.Desired:

10+ years of software development experience for real-time embedded systems
