Summary 
The Area Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue within the corporate transient and consortia segments while supporting group business travel for the Limelight urban hotels. This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel management companies (TMCs), and other key stakeholders to secure business travel contracts and maximize hotel occupancy and revenue at assigned hotel. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.The budgeted salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 plus sales incentive plan.     Proactively identify, target, and solicit new corporate accounts within assigned market segments
    Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share targets for the BT and Consortia segments
    Conduct outside sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to showcase the hotel's facilities and services to potential clients
    Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and negotiate contracts with corporate clients and TMCs
    Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the business travel and consortia sector
    Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and build relationships
    Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract details within the hotel's CRM system
    Monitor assigned segment performance and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue optimization
    Work closely with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies and maximize yield within the assigned segments
    Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
    Participate in sales meetings and training sessions as required
