JOB SUMMARYThe Agent Sales Representative, Individual and Medicare Insurance, manages and trains brokers to sell individual and Medicare health products to increase sales.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEDevelops sales strategies, in partnership with Manager Individual and Medicare Sales, to identify, recruit and train external brokers to sell Health Plan individual products including ACA and Medicare Advantage.Performs outreach to contracted agents including office visits, mail and telephone contacts to meet or exceed the department's established standards and projected annual sales.Participates in community activities, health fairs, chamber activities, etc. to promote products.Maintains accurate and current broker account information and files, and submits activity reports.Serves as a resource by providing information and responding to inquiries from prospective brokers to increase awareness of products and services.Monitors competition and provides information on the competition, as appropriate.The pay range for this position is $46,633 (entry-level qualifications) - $78,291 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experienceKEY SUCCESS FACTORSMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional networks and societies.Public speaking, good communication skills, selling abilities.Excellent knowledge of Medicare Marketing Guidelines.High degree of customer service abilities.BENEFITSOur competitive benefits package includes the following
