AECOM is seeking an Acoustician (Acoustician II) to join our U.S. Acoustics and Noise Control Practice, which falls under the Environment business line.  This is a hybrid role and candidates may sit out of the following AECOM locations:  New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, Denver, CO, Orange, CA, Oakland, CA or San Diego, CA.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Primary support on noise analysis tasks for major transportation, construction, energy, architecture, and development projects across the U.S.Perform predictive analyses with spreadsheet-based tools and commercially available software such as FHWA Traffic Noise Model, CadnaA, and EASE.Deploy and supervise a variety of sound level measurements in the field; conduct and document attended sound measurements; download and process collected data for report or presentation content inclusion.  Sound measurement tasks will frequently require working in an outdoor environment.
