A software engineer with at least five years of engineering experience including embedded C and Python, and Linux experience is sought.
This is an hourly sub-contracting position. It varies between part-time and almost full-time depending on projects. You will work from home and at clients sites in the Boulder / Denver area. You must be physically located in the Front Range of Colorado.
You will work with a small team of consulting engineers.
Required:
Proficiency with object-oriented Python
Proficiency working with C in embedded systems
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Bachelor of Science degree
Desirable:
Advanced Degree
Proficiency in C
Very comfortable working with Linux operating systems (e.g. Ubuntu)
Experience in hardware debugging at microprocessor level
Strong documentation skills
Ability to work with a variety of personalities
