Civil Engineering Technician / Civil3D Designer and Manager
Kiowa Engineering Corporation is looking to hire a Civil Engineering Technician / Civil3D Designer with four (4) years or more experience in Civil3D drafting and design, to join our Littleton, Colorado office. The applicant should have a high level of experience in Civil3D and be able to manage our Civil 3D and CAD standards along with provide direction/support the other employees in Civil3D design. Kiowa has a long-standing reputation of building relationships with our employees and clients, which has allowed us to serve the Colorado front range for over 35 years. We are a small firm offering a variety of challenging civil engineering projects including public and private site development, infrastructure design, drainageway and storm sewer system design, floodplain modeling, stormwater quality and detention design. The applicant should have:
High level of experience and knowledge with Civil3D software. 4 + years experience.
Experience preparing civil engineering construction plans for land development projects including civil site plans, site grading, street and utility plan and profiles using Civil3D.
Work with a Professional Engineer to submit plans and documents for a review to a city and/or state.
Strong Attention to detail skills (organizational, time management, analytical thinking, observation, and active listening) and working efficiently.
Maturity and self-motivation to work with a project manager/engineer and to work independently on preparation of plan sheets and design.
Excellent timely communication skills.
