Music Teachers Needed

Colorado, Denver, 80221 Denver USA
Aplica ya

Musical Life Denver, located in Englewood, CO, has an immediate opening for a piano, voice, drums, guitar, and bass teacher on Tuesdays - Saturdays. We are looking for someone that has experience working with both adults and children as young as four. Multiple instrumentalists preferred but not required.

Our mission is to help out students become musicians for life. We value fun, community, and empowering our students with the tools the need to live a life filled with music.

What makes us unique is our emphasis on jamming and playing together. All students have access to weekly jam sessions and our entire approach and curriculum is based on making life-long jammers. We also have performance bands (rock/pop/etc) and epic concerts every 4 months. Looking for someone who can teach both private and group classes. Our team works closely together, striving toward a common goal, not as 'hired guns.'

Who's on the team? We are all passionate active musicians - but we are equally passionate about our professions as music teachers. We are hikers, campers, mountain bikers, skaters, snowboarders, concert goers, pet lovers, and generally positive people.

Compensation, Hours, Perks

We have lots of open space on Friday and Saturday to start, with a potential for more days once those are filled. We are looking for people who want to teach 4-6 hours on Tuesday-Friday (in the afternoon and evenings) and 4-8 hours on Saturday (during the day.)

Starting pay is $34-$42 per hour while teaching (based on qualifications).

Supportive and communicative management and ongoing training to help you do your job better and more easily.

A bonus structure that rewards our top performers.

Paid Sick Leave, Paid Time Off, Solid Office with effective communication.

The opportunity to grow with the company (if you wish.)

Personal Skills

We want to hire someone friendly, enthusiastic, and fun. A “smack-your-hands-with-the-ruler-if-you-don’t-play-right" teaching style will not fit in with our culture or brand.

Though we are looking for someone with an established teaching style and skill set, we would like someone who is also joyfully open to coaching and feedback.
