In the Loop Singles, the premiere activity & travel club for singles is hiring an Appointment/ Event Manager for our DTC office. This flexible, part time, 20 hour per week position includes scheduling appointments with clients, planning and hosting a variety of local events for singles and assisting in hosting trips for our single members. We plan 30 events a month and 6 trips a year for our clients.
Our ideal candidate will have a dynamic, confident personality with excellent people skills and a strong work ethic. The gift of gab is a must for this role as we constantly reach out to prospective members. Also the ability to work independently and problem solve is crucial to excel at this position.
The hours will include working 4 days a week at 5 hours per day. Two of these days will include evening hours from 2:30pm-7:30pm. You can work remote 1-2 days per week as well. These days and hours are flexible and we will work around our team members schedule as much as possible. Ideally the candidate will be able to work at least one weekend day a week.
All considered candidates must have at least 1 year of appointment / phone sales experience, reliable transportation, basic computer skills and social media savvy. A fun, energetic personality is also a plus.
