Shipping and Receiving Associate I
Job Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Shipping Receiving Manager and communicate regularly with departmental managers.
Confirm and record the receipt/ shipment of orders.
Prepare items for shipping. This includes using power tools to build custom pallets & crates. Carefully packaging items for safe delivery to our customers.
Quality Control
Load and unload trucks.
Verify packing lists for accuracy.
Notify the billing department of any back-ordered items before shipment.
Notify customers and sales representatives of shipment info, including tracking numbers and orders ready for will call.
Familiar with a variety of the organization's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Will perform production team member duties at times.
Contribute to team effort by performing additional tasks as needed.
Knowledge/Skills:
Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
1-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving environments is preferred.
Starting Pay: $18.00-$21.50 per hour
