Full time position for a professional, well-organized person, with a great aptitude for numbers and systems that also has great customer service skills.

This is a multi-faceted position assisting the Owner on managing several commercial properties and assist on the development side of the business. This individual will be required to work in a high pace environment and to perform several functions.

Responsibilities to include:

New/Potential Tenants: Assist Owners with prospect showings, marketing material. Update accounting software with new leases. Help educate new tenants about the building and transition them into their new suite. Great customer service skills are required.

Existing Tenants: Help existing tenants understand accounting ledger, book conference rooms and work order requests. Accept tenant rent and book into accounting system. Help tenants understand their lease terms and enforce them. Be a liaison between maintenance and tenant regarding maintenance requests. The ability to use accounting systems to correct tenant statements and be able to communicate to tenants in a professional matter.

Maintenance: Create a positive relationship with the vendors. Basic understanding of the general repairs and maintenance that occur on the property. Ability to help explain repairs and help troubleshoot maintenance requests with tenants. Experience to accurately communicate problems to vendors in order to obtain proposals for work. Work with vendors to obtain correct paperwork once work is awarded.

Marketing: Assist the Owner in marketing the property through web, social, and print media. Help organize tenant events. Recommend and run value add projects.

Accounting: All AR and AP related functions. Work with tenants, vendors, bank and CPA to keep accurate, well organized books. Ability to use multiple accounting systems (Yardi Voyager, Rent Manager, and Quickbooks) depending on different property needs.

Requirements: 3 to 5+ years accounting or property management experience required. Great customer service skills, ability to multi-task, calm demeanor. Very organized, great computer skills, a positive attitude, ability to find things to do during down time. Extremely dependable and professional.
