Description We are offering a role in the gaming industry, specifically in the area of auditing, based in Cripple Creek, Colorado. The role, being an Auditing Clerk, will entail ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial transactions within our establishment. This will be an opportunity for a short-term contract employment. Hours are flexible for four 10-hour shifts. Responsibilities: Verification of all money transactions handled by the Cage and various game tables including Black Jack, Roulette, and Craps. Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all entries made by soft and hard count teams. Auditing slot machine summary information and analyzing Drop Team activities electronically. Provision of adequate supplies and equipment to staff. Performing audits of sensitive areas in compliance with gaming regulations. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships and offering excellent customer service. Keeping supervisors informed of any concerns. Ensuring a clean and safe work environment, identifying unsafe practices and informing the respective team. Perform additional duties as required.Skills Required: Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, CaseWare, Data Processing, IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Auditing Experience in Cash Activity and Check Processing Strong Customer Service skills.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role Familiarity with CaseWare will be expected Ability to handle Data Processing tasks efficiently Knowledge of IBM AS/400 will be advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Understanding and experience of Accounting Functions are required Experience in Auditing is a significant advantage Experience in handling Cash Activity is necessary Proficiency in Check Processing is required Excellent Customer Service skills are essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
