Job Summary: Marvin Rentals is hiring a part-time, seasonal Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant to support our event rental operations through the end of October. This role is ideal for someone independent and self-motivated—most deliveries are solo and require loading your assigned truck and transporting tables, chairs, and other rental items to local venues.
Key Responsibilities:
Load & unload your assigned truck with event rental equipment
Drive solo to delivery sites (tables, chairs, small rentals)
Deliver and unload items at client locations
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate clearly when needed
Assist in the warehouse with cleaning, organizing, and staging equipment
Occasional help with tent, stage & pipe & drape setups as needed
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work independently
Reliable, punctual, and efficient
Comfortable working alone for most of the day
Basic navigation and time management skills
Positive attitude, even when working in heat or light rain
Must be professional and personable with clients, as most deliveries are solo and involve direct customer interaction.
Schedule & Hours:
Part-time, guaranteed Mondays and Fridays (but often more days)
Additional shifts may be scheduled as needed (with 2 weeks’ notice)
Seasonal position through end of October
Typically daytime hours; early mornings may be required
Compensation:
$25–$28/hour DOE
Time and a half for graveyard/overnight setups
End-of-season bonus for meeting reasonable milestones and staying through October
