STEEL / IRONWORKERS / WELDERS
We are currently accepting resumes for Structural Steel Journeyman Ironworkers and or Welders with building erection experience, who can weld and/or connect. No apprentice positions available. Local work - (2) Colorado Springs projects - North Colorado Springs/Monument.

Welders must pass 3G 3/8" plate vertical test. Applicants must have previous experience erecting commercial building projects. Must not be afraid of heights.
Required Experience: Structural Steel Journeyman Ironworkers who, with supervision, is responsible for completing tasks related to structural iron and steel erection; in a timely, quality manner. Must have at least 2 yrs experience erecting structural steel projects such as schools, medical centers, banks, offices and other multi-story buildings.
Attendance: You must be able to start work at the scheduled time and follow procedures for requesting time off. Complete job responsibilities accurately and on time. Able to work overtime and weekends, if needed.
Tools: You must have all required hand tools for related craft. i.e., spud wrenches, sleever bars, bull pins, bolt bags, rod bags.
Responsibilities:
Bolt-up and/or weld structural members following blueprints and instructions.
Rig structural-steel members to hoisting equipment to be hoisted into place.
Detail work including installation of angle, bent plate, clips, joist, tube steel, kickers, etc
Assembly of steel, decking, stairs, handrail & guardrail.
Unloading of iron from trucks to designated area.
Field fabrication per steel erection plans.
