Working closely with private developers, large retail corporations, and government facilities, we install thousands of concrete light pole bases each year throughout the state of Colorado – and beyond, as requested by our valued clients. Our Services have now expanded to Electrical Site work associated with the installation of the Light pole bases to include Trenching, Conduit installation, Wire Pulls, Secondary Services, Light Pole Assembly, and Light Pole Setting.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Laborer with any level of experience. To be successful in this position you must be eager to learn the trade, a great team player, and have a passion for safety.
Work is in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Denver Areas, and occasionally the Mountains. Transportation and hourly pay to and from our jobsites provided from our Colorado Springs Shop every day. Must be Reliable, Willing to work, and able to show up on time every day. Must be able to provide own transportation to our shop each morning to report for work @ 6615 Vincent Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
We perform Government and Regulate Private Sector work which employees must be able to pass drug and criminal background tests at times. Valid Driver's license required for employment.
Primary Duties:
Assist in completing supervised work which complies with NEC Code in any of the following areas
o Installing and repairing electrical wiring, systems and fixtures
o Installing conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables
o Installing circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connecting wiring to them
o Connecting electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building
o Testing electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
o Inspecting electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
o Replacing conduit and wiring, as needed
o Replacing circuit breakers, as needed
o Installing concrete light pole bases
Practice skills learned in apprentice school in on-the-job training
Enroll in Apprentice Schooling and complete all assignments with passing grades
Other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent required
High mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
Able to follow directions precisely
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to communicate verbally and written
Ability to understand and apply basic electrical knowledge
Ability to see color to discern color-coded wiring
Maintain a safe work environment for self and other
A team player with good customer service
Reliable Transportation to and from The Caisson Company Shop
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Job requires the ability to be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constant walking and climbing ladders and scaffolding, bending, kneeling, stooping, Shoveling, etc., as needed. Work environment varies.
