Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Foreman with experience leading crews, ability to oversee projects, and a strong focus on safety. You will be responsible for Concrete Light Pole Base Installations to include Drilling, Rebar Fabrication, Form setting, Pouring, & Stripping of installed Light Pole Bases. A foreman is responsible for supervising, working alongside, and coordinating activities for a concrete crew assigned to them on varying construction projects.
Work is in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Denver Areas. Transportation and hourly pay to and from our jobsites provided from our Colorado Springs Shop every day. Must be Reliable, Willing to work, and able to show up on time every day. Must be able to provide own transportation to our shop each morning to report for work @ 6615 Vincent Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80918. Foreman Candidates who qualify for Company Truck will be issued after Training & Evaluation period.
We perform Government and Regulated Private Sector work which employees must be able to pass drug and criminal background tests at times. Valid Driver's license required for employment. Ability to fluently speak, read, & write English professionally is required to be a Foreman Candidate for The Caisson Company. Bi-lingual speaking, reading, & writing is an advantage.
Primary Duties:
Supervises and coordinates activities of work crews engaged in preparing and applying concrete for fabricating, covering, and reinforcing structures
Works alongside & Oversees workers who place forms for molding concrete, install reinforcing steel, and convey, pour, finish, and cure concrete.
Reads specification sheets for information, such as sizes of aggregates and proportions of cement and water required, to ensure that concrete is mixed according to specifications.
Inspects bracing and shoring of concrete forms to ensure their stability before and during pouring.
Indicates positions for pouring to facilitate conveying concrete from mixer to forms.
Trains new workers.
Directs workers who spread, vibrate, screed, and float concrete to ensure that concrete is compacted to desired consistency and surface is finished to specified uniformity and smoothness.
Examines concrete, after forms are stripped, and gives instruction to workers to repair defects, such as roughness and honeycombed appearance.
Records data, such as time spent on various phases of job and yardage and distribution of concrete poured.
Ability to proficiently operate skid steer, forks, and Auger attachments to Drill holes efficiently.

Requirements:
High School or Degree or GED required
Must be at least 18 years old
5-6 years of construction experience required
Ability to be adaptable
Strong communication skills
Effective at time management
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Job requires the ability to be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constant walking and climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, stooping, etc., as needed. Work environment varies.

$25 - $35 per hour depending on Experience
