AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
HARRY’S AUTOMOTIVE, INC.
We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, repair, and service automotive vehicles of different makes & models. An opportunity for increased pay exists based upon the level of expertise you bring to the team.
The ideal candidate will be punctual on a daily basis & will have a positive attitude, maintain a clean appearance & workspace, willingness to continue to learn & grow in the job, a high level of integrity & accountability, and the desire to do the job right the FIRST time.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose & repair multi-make/model automobiles, trucks, and other motor vehicles
Inspect and diagnose new vehicles for necessary repairs & adjustments
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, incl. oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, etc.
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Extensive knowledge of automotive repair
Extensive knowledge of shop, diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to be self-directed on jobs & learning
Deadline-driven and detail-oriented
Safety-minded both in shop operation & customer vehicle repair
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must have & maintain own tools
Valid driver's license & dependable transportation
Clean driving record
Pay Range: $20-$30/hour (depending upon skill level)
