Small west side auto shop looking for easy going technician / mechanic with Positive Attitude.
Need a Team Player with some diagnostic capabilities and MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A TECH IN AN AUTOMOTIVE SHOP.

You will need your own tools. Special & diagnostic tools are provided by the shop.
Pay will be determined by experience and ability. I am a tech myself and I want you to make money. If you make money, the shop makes money, and vice versa - I get it :-)
I pay 100% of your uniforms and paid holidays after 90 days on the job. Paid vacation time after 1 year.
This is a small 2 bay shop but we will be expanding soon and hope to double (or more) in size. We are working through the city's permit process now and hope to start our expansion asap.
Nowbecause we are a small shop (for the time being) I need a guy that can do most things without a lot of help or supervision. I am definitely willing to help on the tougher diagnostic problems or something you haven't seen before when needed, and everyone here chips in where needed. If you ask for help, we will help youno problem. We will expect the same of you.
Currently myself and 1 other tech. We are friendly and easy going but serious about our work. We like to laugh and joke around but business and customer satisfaction are number 1.
Now all we need is You
I buy lunch every Friday (and most other days:) Snacks, coffee, drinks, etc are around regularly too.
I will want your recent work history and a resume if you have one. ASE certs preferred but not required.
Personal and business references will also be required and I will call them.
Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm. No weekends unless you want to make extra
We pay every Friday with a one week hold back to allow for payroll accounting purposes. Techs here are currently paid hourly with overtime each week but if you prefer flat rate we can discuss that. We also pay cash bonuses whern
We will all be expected to keep the shop CLEAN and ORGANIZED.
Again, due to our limited space we have to keep things tidy. If you are real messy you won't be a good fit.
