Assistant Store Manager

Mountain Liquors is a family-owned liquor store adjacent to Costco Wholesale with an extensive selection of liquor, beer, wine, and spirits. Our goal is to provide customers with quality products and exceptional customer service.

The right candidate will be willing and able to:
Assist the Manager with daily functions of the store operations such as:
o Manage Store Planners
o Payroll
o Schedules
o Inventory control, counts daily and monthly
o Inventory reporting
o Shrink controls
o Monitor store-level repairs and maintenance expenses
o Review / monitor retail pricing structure set by home office for accuracy
o Assist with implementation of Product programs and promotions
o Store presentation and following schematics established by company
o Achieve merchandise sales and profit margin objectives established by the company
o Ensure, enforce and adhere to all industry law regulations and company policy i.e.-TABC
o Support and assist the Manager with training and development of all employees
o Establish and maintain effective business relations with customers, suppliers and other business resources
Requirements:
o High diploma or equivalent
o Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
o Minimum of 2 years of management experience with 1 year retail
o Valid drivers license and be insurable
