A local door manufacturer is looking to hire a variety of individuals, from those who are interested in learning to people who are skilled and ready to work. Those interested should be ready to sand, assemble, build and wrap custom doors and jambs.
Come be a part of a small manufacturing business making high end, custom, oversized pivot doors. Pivot Door Company has been in business for over 9 years. As we grow we’re looking for good natured, energetic woodworkers to help us expand. The work environment is friendly and cooperative. Hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday thru Friday, 40 hours a week. We do not install or visit job sites. All work is done in our manufacturing warehouse.
CRATE DEPARTMENT: Building shipping crates/containers. Utilizing table saws, chop saws, nail gun, staple gun. Similar experience for this position would be framing.
Interested individuals should:
● Be good problem solvers
● Pay attention to detail and quality
● Be accurate with a tape measure
● Have experience with common woodworking machinery
● Be able and willing to repeatedly lift 75lbs throughout your shift
Other things to consider: This is a manufacturing warehouse. Temperatures will vary. It will be a dusty, noisy environment. Eye protection is required at all times.
Interested individuals must be able to lift and carry up to 74 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 100 pounds.
Compensation:
$18/hr-20/hr, depending on skill level, position and production; paid time off can be earned, some holidays are paid.
