We are seeking someone to help us with both preventative maintenance and as-needed repairs at our rental homes. Jack of all trades / handiman / handyman with range of skills to help keep up our properties. We're a private owner (not property management company) with numerous rental homes in Colorado Springs.
Responsibilities include:
- General property maintenance that can be scheduled into your availability (furnace filter change, deck staining, spraying for spiders, turn off AC unit, replace smoke alarm batteries, paint touchups, drywall patches, etc.)
- As-needed support for items that arise periodically (replace light bulb, fix leaky sink, refill propane tank, fix leaky gutter, tighten loose deck rail, etc.)
Who is our ideal candidate?
- Someone with a range of repair/house maintenance skills, great customer service, and ability to follow through on commitments.
Typical workload is 5-15 hours/week, though most hours can be managed based on your availability on a weekly/monthly basis. Potential for additional work depending on availability and skillset.
Skill in using smart phones and comfort with managing to-do lists on a company provided App is necessary
