We are a growing young company that is in need of a self-motivated individual to help with numerous tasks in our commercial landscaping business. Most of your time will be spent on commercial sites doing landscape enhancements ie. turf to rock conversion, plant installation, sod installation etc. You will also help the owner with irrigation from time to time, as well as the mow crew as needed (storm clean up, fall clean ups etc.)
We need someone who is able to work on their own or with a small crew, a driver's license and ability to drive a truck with trailer is necessary. Previous knowledge is preferred but we can definitely train someone who is willing to learn. This would be a great position for somebody that has some experience as a landscape tech but wants to become a project foreman, irrigation tech, or pesticide applicator in order to progress their career. Career minded individuals who are willing to attend related classes (clocked in, during business hours) and develop their knowledge in the field are preferred.
We do commercial snow removal during the winter, snow plowing/sanding experience is a plus but not necessary.
This is a full time, year round position. We work (4) ten hour days during the summer, so every weekend is a 3 day weekend. Occasional overtime is available so if you would like to work the fifth day some weeks that is an option but not required.
Pay is dependent on Experience, $21-$26/hour. We use electronic time keeping, and direct deposit is available. As of right now we do not offer insurance, but I would love to provide that as an option as we grow. Paid holidays include Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
