General Laborer – Colorado Springs Area
We are seeking a dependable and hard-working General Laborer with a solid understanding of grades and site preparation. This role involves a variety of tasks including running string lines, verifying grades, shoveling, sweeping, installing silt fencing, and general site cleanup. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, excavation, or related labor and be eager to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain string lines to guide elevation and direction.
Check and confirm site grades.
Perform shoveling, sweeping, and general site maintenance.
Install silt fences and other erosion control measures.
Assist with tasks involving trenching, excavation, and civil utilities.
Support various construction labor duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in construction, general labor, or excavation.
Strong understanding of grading and elevation.
Ability to run string lines accurately.
Familiarity with concrete, landscaping, utility installation, etc.
Reliable, motivated, and open to learning.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Work Environment & Expectations:
Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Mandatory Monday morning safety meetings at 6:00 AM.
Projects range from Rocky Ford to Ridgegate (Lone Tree); initial project located in Pueblo.
Candidates must be willing to travel to job sites without drive-time pay or per diem.
Standard 40-hour workweeks, with overtime available.
Safely lift and carry 50–100 lbs.
Maintain close vision and focus as needed for detailed tasks.
