We are a small privately owned dental office located off Woodman and I-25 with a schedule of Monday 9-5 Tuesday 8-5 Wednesday 8-5 and Thursday 7-4.
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to create a pleasant experience for our patients
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients into the dental office.
Preparing, stocking, and cleaning treatment rooms
Prepare equipment for sterilization in an appropriate manner.
Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
Ordering supplies
Basic dental hygiene tasks: polishing and flossing.
Taking x-rays
Keeping up to date information about patients
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
Answer questions and give information about services and treatment options.
Taking/Pouring impressions
Packing cord and make temporary crowns
Schedule appointments
Communicating treatment plans to patients
Cross trained with front desk tasks
Taking initiative to stay busy and assist wherever necessary
1 year of work experience is desired. You should be well-organized with great attention to detail. Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want a candidate that has strong patient skills and the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
