Team Member

Emergency Mini Treats is thrilled to be part of the enchanting Ice Castles event in Cripple Creek, Colorado! This seasonal, temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work in a breathtaking winter wonderland surrounded by illuminated tunnels and stunning ice sculptures. Running from mid-December to mid-March (weather permitting), Team Members will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences by serving warm, delicious treats to guests while upholding the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. This position is essential to the daily operations of the Emergency Mini Treats food truck, fostering teamwork and professionalism in a festive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation and Service

Prepare and cook menu items, such as mini donuts, hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, and beverages, following established recipes and food safety standards.

Assemble and serve specialty items like snow cones and cotton candy promptly and with attention to quality.

Ensure all food is presented attractively and meets company standards for quality and consistency.

2. Customer Service

Greet customers courteously and assist with menu selections.

Accurately take customer orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system.

Address customer inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive and professional attitude.

3. Safety and Sanitation

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including cooking surfaces, utensils, and service counters.

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handwashing and equipment cleaning procedures.

Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

4. Team Collaboration

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient food truck operations.

Assist in opening and closing procedures, including inventory checks, equipment setup, and cleanup.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address operational challenges.

5. Physical Demands

Climb stairs to access the food truck as needed.

Lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Stand, bend, and squat for extended periods during the shift.

Maintain stamina and focus while working in a fast-paced environment.
