Position Purpose:We value the safety of our associates! The Maintenance and Dematic Technician keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouse/building and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Day to day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance.

Acts as a senior material handling technician for all equipment that is installed at a specific site location.

Provides assistance and mentors lower-level employees.

Using problem solving and critical thinking, additional key tasks include the following:

Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.

Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures

Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.

Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate date to include labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.

Troubleshoot conveyance problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.

Locate and track spare parts from inventory.

Performs complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.

Provides assistance with training customer to operate equipment.

Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.

Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.

Will work in ambient and subzero environments

Occasionally will be asked to be flexible between 1st and 2nd shifts on an as needed basis only

Maintaining maintenance shop in a clean and orderly manner. Keeps accurate maintenance records and is financially prudent with all expenses incurred.

Follows all safety standards and policies.

Performs all needed general maintenance and repairs for grounds, warehouse, shop and office facilities.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
