Seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on closed construction sites for the installation of underground utilities for new build construction.
Tasks include digging trenches, laying pipe, backfilling trenches, and cutting grading.
The operator will also be required to assist with all aspects of work as needed, from digging with shovels to laying pipe.
Requirements:
3+ years Experience with heavy equipment
Must have Drivers License.
Must own car
Proficiency in excavators, loaders, and skids
MUST have the ability to grade with +/- .10', cut grade and read stakes
MUST have the ability to shoot grade with lasers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Additional Details:
This is a direct placement position
$24-$30/hr. depending on experience
Monday - Friday Schedule
Must be able to work 40+ hours per week
Work Site Details:
This is a fully on-site position. Shop is in Calhan, CO.
Projects are in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Fairplay. MUST BE WILLING TO FOLLOW THE WORK
Required to drive to and from job sites.
Work Environment:
Will be working on closed commercial construction sites.
