SWCM establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. SWCM provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software, firmware/configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools. Additionally, SWCM is responsible for administration and user access for Change and Configuration Management toolsets (i.e. Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS), Git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, GitHub, etc.)The SWCM department is looking for a full-time and on-site Software Deployer (Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer), located in Colorado Springs, CO.This position is an onsite role.Responsibilities to Anticipate
Build and maintain strong working relationships across all teams
Automate and streamline deployment procedures and processes
Create customized / tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific program, customer and/or site requirements
Deploy new application platforms as required
Trouble-shoot / repair implementation issues, escalations, and action items
Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
Streamline the delivery of code from development teams to QA teams through auditing of the build process and version control
Support internal and external customers in a technical capacity throughout the development/deployment lifecycle
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 (five) years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Experience with deployment of software and applying patches to various environments using tools and/scripts
Experience in intensive debugging/troubleshooting of build/deployment pipeline/tools
Automation experience shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and/or Windows
Experience with administering and developing software team solutions on Atlassian tools especially Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Strong background in task automation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, PHP, C#, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
Working knowledge of industry standard technology such as Atlassian Suite, ANT, Gradle, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Puppet and more
Experience with Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts
Database / SWCM tool administration experience
Work effectively with individuals from diverse communities/cultures and cross discipline organizations
Experience with the Atlassian Suite, ANT, Gradle, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Rundeck

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
