Job DescriptionAt Manpower, we support our customers by providing top-notch staffing solutions, and we are currently seeking a Senior Moldmaker to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role will be pivotal in building, revising, and maintaining molds, tooling, and fixtures to support both production and product development. The position operates on a Monday-Friday second shift.What You'll Do:
Maintain and build molds as needed to support production; repair tools in the press for quick turn-around of issues.
Keep accurate documentation of mold files, ECO changes, and repairs for future reference.
Operate Tool Room equipment including CNC Mills, CNC EDMs, Wire EDMs, and other necessary machinery with high competency.
Use Mastercam, Solidworks, and Pro/E software to create or modify moderately complex solid models.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to mold function and miscellaneous tooling and fixtures.
Complete additional tasks in support of production goals, including fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, and ancillary machining projects.
What We Seek:
High school diploma and a 2-year degree in mold making, apprenticeship, or equivalent.
Over 5 years of experience as a mold/tool maker in a tool room or job shop environment.
Proficiency in mold making competencies including design, build, revise, repair, and troubleshoot.
Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read work instructions, perform math computations, and handle computer data entry.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., and walk and stand for the duration of the shift in a manufacturing environment.
Capability to visually detect quality defects.
