Payroll Accountant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry of payroll accounting, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are in search of a Payroll Accountant who will play a significant role in maintaining the financial precision of our transactions. Responsibilities: Accurate processing of customer payroll using Workday software Deduction, computation, and withholding of applicable taxes with accuracy Identifying and rectifying potential payroll discrepancies and errors Keeping abreast with regulations and laws pertinent to payroll accounting Preparing and presenting reports on payroll to the management team Ensuring adherence to all company policies and federal and state laws regarding payroll and taxes Addressing and resolving any tax-related issues.
