We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Infrastructure Specialist - Network to join our team! In this role you will be responsible to provide system configuration administrative functions for the Enterprise IT infrastructure, including monitoring and tuning as well as resolving service incidentsWhat You'll Be Doing:

Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks

Install and configure networking hardware (Cisco and Palo Alto)

Provision and manage Internet circuits (DIABroadband) for field offices

Design and coordinate implementation of the cable plant for field offices

Travel to field office for network implementation

Process network maintenance renewals

Manage network support issues within ticketing system

Have knowledge of new IT Infrastructure technologies, processes, methodologies and best practices

Manage infrastructure projects, including gathering requirements, design, build, implementation and project management

Perform post-implementation follow-ups to ensure infrastructure stability

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

4-year degree in Computer related curriculum and 3-7 years of hands on network experience installingconfiguring network devices .

Candidates without a degree will be required to have an additional 5 years of relevant experience for consideration.

Certifications: Cisco Professional Certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP).

Solid background in network administration and configuration (switchesrouters)

Understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-IOS)

Understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. LogicMonitor)

Knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and methodologies

Understanding of project delivery within an Agile framework

An understanding of the strategic impacts of enterprise initiatives, the supporting IT systems and architecture.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction or oversight.

.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Preferred experience with scripting and automation (e.g Python, Ansible)

Preferred experience with SDWAN technology
