DescriptionPCSI is looking for a General Clerk III to assist our grounds maintenance team at Schriever Space Force Base! The General Clerk provides administrative support to the management team and employees. Some of the main administrative duties include maintaining files, submitting invoices for payment, and processing employee changes in the payroll/HR system. The General Clerk facilitates communication with corporate departments and vendors via phone and email, so strong written and verbal communication skills are required.This position is works directly on base, east of Colorado Springs, CO. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.Benefits Include:

Hourly pay rate of $22.00/hr

Process documents in the payroll/HR system (UKG) as assigned (e.g., onboarding, changes in employment status, payroll changes, etc.).

Manage and submit all required contractual documents and invoicing between vendor, site, and appropriate department.

Receive incoming calls and notify management of complaints or requests received.

Process and destroy confidential and sensitive documents as appropriate.

Maintain complex filing systems.

Support other departments such as Accounts Payable, the People Team and Workforce Development to aid personnel in administrative functions.

Process receipts and invoices for payment.

Respond to written and verbal inquiries from management and external sources to provide information, facilitate communication among departments, and complete administrative tasks.

Assist grounds crew as needed.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working in office administration required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC functions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to effectively listen and clearly communicate in person and on the telephone.

Ability to comply with and interpret company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

Ability to demonstrate continual attention to detail in composing and proofing documents, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be a self-starter and work with minimal direction and supervision.

Having basic knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment is preferred.

Ability to climb, bend, squat, push, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; prolong sitting up to 90%.

Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.

Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions when needed.

Ability to work around loud noise, and vibration.
