The Director of Engagement, in partnership with FAC leaders, defines the
FAC's strategies for programming, engagement and advancement
(development). To accomplish these goals the DoE will lead a diverse team
of professional staff and Colorado College and community partners to plan and
execute impactful, vibrant experiences that encourage engagement of visitors
with the FAC's mission. As part of this work, the DoE will help design and
implement program development strategies that integrate the FAC's different
disciplinary areas (Bemis School of Art, Museum, and Theater).
Reporting to the Executive Director, the DoE serves as a member of the
senior FAC leadership team and will expand audience and donor engagement and
will cultivate partnerships with community, College, and philanthropic organizaWhat we Offer:

wellness center, and financial consultantsAnticipated Salary Range: $70,070 to $94,595 per yearResponsibilities:Ensure community access to the FAC through collaborative and outreach
programs. Build and sustain relationships with individuals, groups and
institutions in an effort to extend FAC services to a wider community. Oversee
community partner programs and extend invitations to new organizations to
increase FAC visibility, audience and reach.
Direct the development of long range and short-term strategic plans and
initiatives to further the growth and impact of the FAC s outreach and
engagement. This work should support exploration and experimentation through a
range of opportunities for people to connect to each other and the wider world.
Lead Engagement staff (including events, Bemis School of Art, and
academic/education managers) with a focus on enhanced experiences at the
FAC, exceptional organization and efficiency; actively collaborate with
other departments to implement improvements and develop programs that drive
goals for enhanced visitor experience and increased participation on all levels
Create organizational strategies including a comprehensive calendar of
annual FAC events and implement programming to engage community members with
our diverse and multiple demographics in mind.
Champion and advance exceptional art making opportunities within the Bemis
School of Art. Explore innovative program development, partnership and
curriculum design that fosters interdepartmental connections at the FAC.Required Qualifications:Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience plus eight years of progressively
complex organizational management and leadership with five years
supervisory experience in a patron focused operation; demonstrated
effectiveness in cultivating a staff of high-performing and positive
contributors. Experience with community development, nonprofit engagement,
and program implementation. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills; strong management skills; exceptional atten ion to detail and
commitment to follow-through; ability to handle multiple responsibilities
