At GDIT program management is leading every aspect of what we provide to the customer and we’re constantly evolving our approach to meeting our clients’ biggest challenges.HOW A CHANGE MANAGER MAKES AN IMPACTAt GDIT a Change Manager provides operational leadership and oversight of change management and governance to bring together technologies, solutions and logistics safely to N&NC NITES. The Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Services (NITES) program effort is in direct support of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD)/United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM).NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America. Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other commands. NITES provides a full spectrum of enterprise IT services and management. Services provided will implement, among other DoD initiatives, zero trust at every level.Primary Responsibilities:Change Manager: Manages change management services and activities to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of changes in a controlled manner in accordance with N&NC policy. Updates and maintains the program Change Management Plan. Manages and identifies the types of changes needed, establishes appropriate change models (as applicable), and provides support services for Change Management Boards and team activities in accordance with the Change Management Plan. Maintains the existing change management processes and updates them to align with the most current ITIL framework. Provides process improvements to optimize enterprise change management performance. Reviews and provides suggested updates and changes for design, migration planning, and service delivery guidance documentation. Coordinates approved service packages integration into the enterprise and service catalog. Conducts periodic reviews of all changes in order to identify areas for process improvement. Leverages software tools such as Ivanti to manage the change process.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position.

Required Experience: 5+ years of providing change management support.

Required Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in facilitating and achieving stakeholder consensus across multiple technical, business, and functional domains, including Government Leaders, Information Security and Technology Subject Matter Experts, and Mission Owners

Security Clearance Level: DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance Required,

Required Skills and Abilities:

Generates service requests and change requests in Ivanti and ensures tickets are compliant with program standards. Identifies knowledge gaps and develops solutions, such as a user account request guide that facilitated smooth processing of account requests.

Provides change management guidance and training to program management and customers.

Works cross-functionally to develop more efficient and effective processes and workflows.

Facilitates Technical Review Board and CAB meetings, following up with requestors regarding after actions.

Created requirements process workflow to assist colleagues and customers with understanding the requirements process for the program. Works within an Agile environment and has experience working with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CCMI) processes and ISO audit standards.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills applied to the development and presentation of technical materials appropriate to a broad spectrum of audiences.

Adept at interfacing with Government at senior leader levels and representing the interests of GDIT and N&NC.

Understanding of N&NC policies, organization, and processes. Integration and alignment of N&NC policies, organizational constructs, and processes

Preferred Skills:

10+ years change management or configuration management

Certifications: Security+ ITIL 3 Foundation

The likely salary range for this position is $116,960 - $158,240. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
