DescriptionPosition SummaryThis position involves primarily operating a loader to feed the asphalt
plant, excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or
other materials in a safe manner. May operate a variety of other vehicles and
heavy construction equipment.ResponsibilitiesEnsures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and
procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
Operates a variety of vehicles and heavy construction equipment as needed.
Performs routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reports defects
and repairs to the maintenance department.
Take action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility
lines, other equipment, other workers, and objects.
Operates other heavy equipment and other construction-related duties as
required.
This position will have cross functional tasks that include labor work and
maintenance
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be safety-oriented and exhibit safe work habits.
Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
Perform well in a "TEAM" environment.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Willing to work hours that are associated with the asphalt industry,
including overtime and weekends and nights as needed.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic mathematical skills.
A valid driver's license is required.
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Minimum Education and Experience1-3 years' experience operating equipment preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements & ConditionsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate being
exposed to loud noise
Ability to lift 75 pounds

your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing,

We are excited to share the base pay for this position is $24-$28,
exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary).
The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such
as geographic location, business need, market conditions,
proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at

the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team
members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay
