Serves on the Applications team acting as the SME for the software platforms for the organization; identifies specific applications required to enhance business operations. Coordinates installation, upgrades, and future state of software applications used within the organization. Performs activities including planning and implementing business platforms/applications. Determines business requirements, conducts process analysis and prioritization. Engages with key vendors for better understanding of our platform. Provides key feedback to Managers, team members and business partners to achieve successful results in application platform sustainability.
Essential FunctionsSubject Matter Expert: Researches opportunities to improve Application processes. Effectively contributes to the development of controls and processes improving application services. May provide application expertise across multiple technical platforms. Performs troubleshooting and resolution on systems. Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation that enhance the application suite . Assess, design and analyze automation scripts. Utilize experience optimizing applications and solutions for internal and external clients. Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts and business users in conceptualizing, estimating and developing new software applications and enhancements. Analyze user requests and assist with design activities. Develop technical documentation to define the system components, development environment and implementation planning/strategies. Work to integrate infrastructure builds with application deployment workflows.Incident Support: Supports the incident management processes. Able to monitor ticket queues and resolve production performance, server, and application related issues to ensure the restoration of the environment.Innovation: Creates new processes for better support and training. Creating new automation to reduce human error.
