Reviews, edits and processes digital video assets, as well as, oversees the upload and transcode operations of such assets. Successfully prepares all media and metadata, verifying incoming content and confirming receipt of content from the provider. Acts as technical specialist within own area. Through our portfolio of solutions we bring these innovations to the global marketplace, enabling our partners to think big, go beyond, and lead the way in media and technology.About the Team:The Render Operations Center (ROC) serves as a full-service content processing platform, with the role of acquiring content from a variety of sources, encoding or transcoding that content from one format to another, and ultimately delivering that content to our linear and digital platforms for external distribution. We are a horizonal function of the business, supporting the vertical columns of Linear Origination, Video on Demand (VOD), and some functions of Comcast Ad Delivery (CAD), with encode, transcode, feed capture, AWS/SDVI processing, DAI insertion, file management, and quality control in a near 24/7/365 environment. On a yearly basis, our team performs encode of nearly 100,000 assets across more than 25,000 work orders along with additional business support as needed.What You'll Do:

Serves as team lead in supervisor's absence.

Works with supervisor to coordinate scheduling effort for team and business needs.

Works directly with support teams to track and resolve system issues.

Delivers finished product to internal system for distribution within service level agreement. Provides quality control of content both inbound and outbound.

Receives and processes media and metadata from content providers.

Supports coordinators, ensuring that issues they identify are being resolved.

Tracks and uses daily metrics report to react to and improve upon content partner or delivery issues.

Builds and maintains content partner relationships with their peers.

Troubleshoots or escalates issues that occur within the Video Operations value chain.

Serves as internal customer contact for 3rd party content providers.

Serves as internal contact for outsourcing requests when resource availability determines need.

Creates standard operation procedures and documentation of workflows and processes.

Coordinates, prioritizes, and processes incoming requests.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

Content Management - Isilon, Cloudian, and AWS retrieval and monitoring

Workflow Optimization - Working with multiple groups to ensure efficiency of content delivery

Production Reliability - Maintain on time deliveries and training for workflows across multiple groups

Video and IP Asset Delivery - Broadcast and VOD content delivered to specified locations

Ability to identify Audio and Video Levels

Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Vantage, Switch/GLIM player, Digital Media handling

Strong attention to detail

Additional "Nice to Have" Qualifications:

Networking experience

Background in Spanish language
