Following prescribed procedures, performing any of the tests within any of the laboratory specialties, calculating the results of the tests performed as necessaryOperating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, and maintaining any laboratory analyzers or equipmentRecognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions; notifying management personnel when appropriatePreparing reagents or media from a prescribed procedureEvaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to established criteriaConducting established quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products; evaluating results of quality control and implements corrective action when indicatedAbility to interface with internal and external customers including physicians, client quality assurance, and executive directorsCollect and analyze data for scientific publications, abstracts, and presentationsProactively searches for process improvements, preventative actions, and opportunities to increase efficiencyMonitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulationsUtilizes laboratory information systems or other methods to accurately and effectively report patient resultsTraining of new employeesLead validation activities of new tests assays and processesComfortable in interacting with inspectors (regulatory bodies; clients)Active participation in QMS program: Specimen investigations and investigation summaries.Collect and analyze data for scientific publications, abstract, and presentationsSupports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethicsIn order to meet Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives, all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT’s quality management system including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.
